Nestled in the heart of Beaver Creek lies a stunning center stage and 530 elegant, yet cozy, seats. Here, memories are made, joy unfolds and magnificent art comes to life. The Vilar Performing Arts Center is a trusted space for connection and community, where loved ones and strangers
alike come together to share meaningful experiences. When you see a show on Vilar’s calendar, rest assured — you know it is going to be great.
There is not a bad seat in the house. “The last row in the balcony is only 80 feet away from the star on stage,” says Vilar executive director Cameron Morgan. “We have invested so much time, effort and money to provide an uncompromised experience with artists who are playing arenas, stadiums, concert halls, massive theaters, and we have them here in Beaver Creek.”
Beyond being a trusted venue with un matched audience and performer chemistry, Vilar is truly a welcoming and inspiring space for all. The programming and performances synergize generations and genres.

“We work really hard to bring in a variety of artists, shows and genres, so there is some thing for everyone on our calendar,” Morgan elaborates. “The diversity of experiences that audiences can have at Vilar is very special to us.”
This delicate balancing act not only enriches the variety of art showcased but also deepens the connections that flourish within this unique space. It is not often you find a venue that caters to endless tastes, preferences, backgrounds and stages of life. It is quite common at Vilar to find a comedian, rock concert, bluegrass jam session and a classical musical recital on the schedule within the same week.
In fact, 78% of audience members are repeat customers. Meaning, the vast majority of people in any given Vilar crowd have been captivated by the Vilar experience at least once and return time and time again to revel in the magic and embrace community.
“People often surprise us with their tastes and preferences,” Morgan gratefully reveals. “We want to make sure we have offerings for folks to take advantage of.”
Vilar is the room where it happens. This winter and spring season, expect to see Broadway’s smash hit Dear Evan Hansen, world renowned violinist Daniel Hope, local and global folk band sensations, Brian Regan standup comedy bits and more.
Vilar serves the needs of audiences and strives to inspire all. This endless endeavor is also achieved through altruistic community engagement. In addition to evening concert shows, Vilar offers multiple programs that enrich and foster the arts. Through its Support the Arts Reaching Students (STARS) program, over 8,000 students from Eagle County and the surrounding region are able to see, learn and immerse themselves in free shows each year. Another one of Vilar’s generous programs, Community Arts Access, distributes over 1,200 tickets annually to community members who otherwise could not afford to attend.
Morgan highlights that these accomplishments have become more defined over the past few years, and the Vilar team is dedicated to furthering this growth and expansion.
“We are coming off a huge year, and we are not slowing down,” Morgan says.
