Elevated Dental, the West Vail patient-centered dental practice, has opened its Gypsum location, bringing accessible health care and year-round employment to the community. Partnering dentists Justin Moses and Michael Morgan will treat patients at both locations, offering greater patient flexibility while maintaining continuity of care with providers patients already know and trust.
Both Moses and Morgan are dedicated locals who believe in expanding access to care and serving a larger demographic. Living in this Valley is an endurance event in and of itself. More and more long-term locals are moving to Eagle and Gypsum to mitigate lifestyle costs. Many existing patients already live down valley, and the second location expands access and convenience for both their new and existing patients.
“There is a big need for Elevated Dental in Gypsum,” Morgan says. “There is only one other dental office in Gypsum itself. Trying to get in and see the dentist in the Valley is hard enough in general with our growing population. We offer something we both believe in and we want to offer that throughout the Valley.”

The Gypsum location will have a similar patient flow with seven operatories. New and existing patients can receive preventive, restorative, emergency, cosmetic and surgical care. With leading-edge technology, it is important to Moses and Morgan that their patients walk into the space and feel the practice is both accessible and comfortable.
“We listen to what people are wanting out of their visits, so it becomes a collaborative approach between doctor and patient,” Moses emphasizes. “We help them get healthy with what works for them and their budget, as opposed to taking over the conversation.”
Morgan adds: “We do not sell the industry. We tell our patients what’s going on and what they need to do to get healthier. We explain their situation and educate them, so they can make a decision for themselves.”
Establishing a second office is both exciting and challenging. Moses shares that his time in the industry has been an uphill climb. In 2017, he bought Elevated Dental, and in 2018 he relocated the practice from Lionshead to West Vail. He soldiered the practice through COVID-19 and is now proud to keep the momentum moving in Gypsum alongside Morgan. Moses is an avid trail runner — an endurance sport he attributes as the gas behind keeping the business in motion.
Not only is Morgan a passionate mountain biker, he also has endured personal hardships while balancing being a dentist and family man.
“Life knocks you down, and everybody needs a level of endurance whether you are an athlete or business owner or not,” Morgan says. “Really, it’s about keeping your head in the game and staying positive and treating people right.”
You can find both Moses and Morgan at Vail Valley Partnership and Vail Valley Charitable Fund events, on the trail, out-and-about in the community and, of course, at two Elevated Dental locations. The Gypsum location sits next to Village Bagel and across from the new Vail Brewing Company.
“Teeth are tough, and we are here to help,” Moses says.
