Chad Carpenter grew up in Traverse City, Michigan, and studied hospitality management at Central Michigan University before building a career that has spanned more than 25 years in the restaurant and resort hospitality industry. After working in hospitality operations across the country, he ultimately found his home in the Vail Valley, where mountain living and community-centered dining came together naturally. Today, Carpenter is a partner at Trails End and part of the leadership team at Group970, a locally owned restaurant company focused on creating welcoming gathering places throughout the Valley. He is also co-owner of NoteWorthy Wines, bringing his passion for hospitality and beverage culture to every guest experience.
