Women’s health nurse practitioner Deanna Woodroffe opened Vibrant Health’s Eagle location in the summer of 2023. She had many patients commuting from the Vail Valley to her Lone Tree office, just outside of Denver. These patients frequently expressed a need for this healthcare in the Valley.

For over two years, family nurse practitioner Melanie Cross, NP-C, AFMC, has been providing care at the Eagle office. This has included bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, testosterone pellet therapy, weight loss services, nutrition counseling and helping patients with chronic gastrointestinal symptoms by approaching gut health from a functional medicine perspective.
With the new expansion, Vibrant Health welcomes family nurse practitioner Nicco Long, MSN, FNP-C. Long lives in Eagle and is overjoyed to be providing primary care, gynecology and women’s health, medication management and chronic health condition management. She has been working in healthcare for over 25 years and will begin seeing patients at Vibrant Health in September 2025.
Long is passionate about helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Her goal is to empower her patients to optimize their health.

“While treating with medication may be appropriate in some cases, it is not our immediate course of action,” Long says. “It is about searching for the root cause of their problem. We build relationships with our patients, listen to their concerns and help resolve issues at their source rather than just treating symptoms with prescriptions.”
